OUR CALL: Church Historical Site Missionaries, Palmyra, New York

Our mission started October 26th, 2009. As we entered the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, we were nervous and excited. Little did we know then what absolute joy and blessings were ahead of us. This is our story through words and pictures of some of our special experiences as we serve in the "Cradle of the Restoration". Walking Sacred ground everyday and teaching and testifying of what we know to be true. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to earth in this the latter days, and we humbly strive to do our part as directed by the Spirit of the Lord through prayer, service, obedience, and love.

New Site Director's Elder and Sister Lenker

Our new Site Director's are Elder and Sister Lenker, (in the foreground). They are wonderful people. They are converts of about 35 years. They served here as missionaries in 2003, and also served as Mission President in Albania, and also a mission in Kenya Nairobi. He is an ex Marine and retired Los Angeles Police Officer. They've have some very interesting experiences and really add to our mission experience. Our district went to dinner at a Chinese restaurant. The food wasn't great, but the company and conversation was and we had a great time.
