OUR CALL: Church Historical Site Missionaries, Palmyra, New York

Our mission started October 26th, 2009. As we entered the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, we were nervous and excited. Little did we know then what absolute joy and blessings were ahead of us. This is our story through words and pictures of some of our special experiences as we serve in the "Cradle of the Restoration". Walking Sacred ground everyday and teaching and testifying of what we know to be true. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to earth in this the latter days, and we humbly strive to do our part as directed by the Spirit of the Lord through prayer, service, obedience, and love.

New Friends, The Wiants

Elder and Sister Kukahiko with Elder and Sister Denison and our mutual friends from another faith, the Wiants spent a nice afternoon together at the Visitor's Center. They live in a home here in Palmyra that was built in the 1800's. They sing in the choir that Glenn used to sing with. They were missionaries for their church for 16 years in Borneo. They have had us to dinner to look at their slides. We have friendshiped them and they accepted our invitation to come to the Hill Cumorah and spend the afternoon with us. We had a lovely time. They have many questions and misconceptions about the church and it was a good experience for all of us. They are really nice people and very service oriented
